Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women Training

Case Management for Children and Pregnant Women (CPW) is a Medicaid benefit that provides health-related case management services to:

  • Children from birth through 20 years of age with a health condition or health risk
  • Pregnant individuals of any age with a high-risk condition

Case managers help eligible clients access needed medical, social, educational and other services. Medicaid case managers also assist eligible pregnant individuals with nonmedical health-related needs.

Licensed social workers, registered nurses, community health workers, and doulas are eligible to provide case management through CPW. Case managers may work independently or through an agency. Case managers who provide CPW services must enroll with Texas Medicaid.

Case management providers must complete the required training shown below before being certified by CPW. In order to access the training, you must log in to your account or create a new account if you are not already registered.
